Learn the art of making highly concentrated fluidized extracts. Fluidized extracts are potent herbal extracts that are many times more concentrated than regular alcohol tinctures. During a multi-step process, both the alcohol soluble and water soluble constituents of the herbs are extracted, making the resulting extract a more potent and complete representation of the herb prepared. In this hands on workshop, Jessy will take you through the step-by-step process of making high quality fluidized extracts. Everyone will take home a 25ml FE made in class. Detailed hand-outs are provided. Please bring a calculator. Please note, this workshop is for those with some basic herbal experience and basic medicine making knowledge.

Jessy Delleman is a herbalist, herb farmer and medicine maker. She operates a small local organic herb farm and seed business is the founder of Ravenhill Herb Seeds and Miss Mullein’s Herbals. She is a practicing herbalist specializing in herbal medicine for women’s health, and herbs for general health and well being. Jessy has completed formal herbal studies with herbalist Betty Norton, Wild Seed School of Herbal Studies on Salt Spring Island, The School of Evolutionary Herbalism in Washington State, and is continuing her studies with herbalist/midwife Aviva Romm. Jessy is an avid wildcrafter, goatkeeper, and homesteader. She believes in the power of nature to heal.
