Ravenhill farm’s sunny well-draining slope is ideal for growing healthy disease-free garlic. Our crops go in during the first two weeks of November. They begin sprouting their first leaves early in the new year. We sell our garlic fresh immediately after harvest in mid to late July. From August until late October the cured garlic is selected and sold for seed and winter culinary use.

Organic hardneck garlic has a long shelf life and will last the winter left out on the counter. Because our garlic is untreated, it will naturally begin to sprout at the onset of the warmer months of Spring.

Elephant Garlic

Elephant garlic has amazingly large heads with a white wrapper. Milder that other garlic varieties. Great for roasting, soups, dips, dressings and casseroles.
